Machine and plant operator specializing in metal and plastics technology (m/f/d)
Elements of curriculum:
- Programming and operation of CNC-controlled machines (e.g. punch-laser machines, press brakes etc.)
- Machine servicing and maintenance
- Analysing, documenting and, if possible, rectifying plant faults
- Forming and separating components and metal constructions from sheet metal
- Quality inspection
Length of training:
- 2 years
Prerequisites:
- Entrance qualification for vocational education and training
Desirable skills you should have:
- Skill in craftsmanship
- Physical endurance
- Enjoy dealing with metal materials
- Ability to work as a team
Opportunities for advanced training:
- Continuation of training up to graduation as a construction mechanic
- Industrial-Master
- State-certified technician
