Elements of curriculum:

  • Assembling, wiring and testing switching and control systems as well as automation systems
  • Put Switchgear and control systems into operation
  • Provision of systems for power supply
  • Installing data and supply lines
  • Programming and commissioning of PLC training projects

Length of training:

  • 3,5 years

Prerequisites:

  • Secondary school-leaving certificate I

Desirable skills you should have:

  • Interest in electrical engineering
  • Technical understanding
  • Skill in craftsmanship

Opportunities for advanced training:

  • State-certified technician, technical business economist, master craftsman (IHK/HWK)
